Hidden Leaves – Thesis Performance

HiddenLeaves2

Time is running! Save the date for my thesis performance on the

5th June 2014 @ 7pm, Michaelis Theatre, University of Roehampton

Hidden Leaves is a collection of three unlikely short stories, interweaving several plot lines around the ancient Japanese aphorism “The End is Important in All Things”. The need of parting from another, deathly ways of procreation in the animal kingdom and the devotion of one’s life to the Way of the Samurai are explored through the bodies of the six dancers. As these unlikely stories coalesce into a non-linear arrangement of dance and music, we might recognize as T.S. Eliot did that “to make an end is to make a beginning”.
